How to make ginger tea

1 1/2 teaspoons freshly grated gingerroot
1 1/2 cups boiling water

Place grated ginger into a 2-cup glass measuring cup. Fill to the 1-1/2 cup line with boiling water. Set timer for 10 minutes. When the timer goes off, strain into a large mug and stir in sugar or honey (you may need more or less, depending on how sweet you want your tea). Taste; if its too strong (too gingery) for you, add a little more boiling water to your mug.

You can add a pinch of cinnamon or cayenne pepper to it to spice up the taste. You can also drink it iced, just store it in the refrigerator after steeping. Sip and enjoy!
